Organic Sculpture Art Therapy
Seven Sisters Festival 28th – 30th March 2014Creative Art Therapy is a way to explore yourself in the world, your values and symbols through creative expression. This workshop is your chance to reconnect to your creative self. Organic Sculpture uses elements and materials from nature to create a symbolic sculpture. These materials include leaves, feathers, stones, wool, and anything that can be found in the surrounding nature. The process allows for a space for connection with your unique creative essence from where the act of creating a symbol will emerge. This could represent transformation, creativity, or connection to spirit. The art therapy process allows for a space of meaning making and integration of your internal thoughts and feelings, represented outside of yourself. Come on a journey; explore who you are through creativity. Create something that will be an anchor for your next steps, and a reminder to remain connected to your true vision.

Rainbow Serpent Festival VIC 25-28 Jan 2013
The Rainbow Serpent follows ancient mythology, associated with various symbolism for the land, for transformation, for creation and for life. Each of us hold inside a multitude of symbols that allow us to connect and relate to the world around us. Symbols can provide a bridge between our internal and external world, and bring meaning and purpose to our journey. I invite you to:
Discover: More parts of who you are, qualities and strengths.
Explore: Symbolism, awareness, expression.
Create: A spirit figure, a doll, a token or a symbol to give energy to enhance a quality of your choice, and to serve as a reminder of who you are.
Take this symbol on the journey, as you immerse yourself in the festival, allow the spirit figure to soak up the experiences. Take this companion with you when you leave, as a piece of the rainbow serpent festival experience to carry with you.

Seven Sisters Mid Winter Gathering – Abbotsford VIC 2012
Winter is a time of reflection – everything dies off or goes within it itself to grow and be renewed once spring is here again.
Explore and create symbols for the process of releasing the old and welcoming the new, sharing your journey and honouring the stages of growth.
Organic Sculpture uses found objects and materials from nature, wound, tied and sewn together to symbolise aspects of self, the inner world, journeys and emotions.
Rainbow Serpent Festival – VIC 2012
Symbols help us to integrate, express, and make sense of our experience of ourselves in the world. Together we speak today not through words, but through symbols, physical, visual, and movement based symbols, to interact, shed light on our experience and share our vulnerability with the group. The group came together to create a symbol mural of what it means to them to be involved in the festival, the experience that they felt with the group, and what is important to them about coming together for the rainbow serpent festival.
Renaissance Festival – VIC 2012
Fire has the ability to cleanse and renew, to burn away the old and to make room for the new. Together we undertook a journey through an internal landscape. Reflecting on the present moment, the current state, we released what was no longer needed, making space for the new. Burning the visual representations of the old elements of self, having gratitude for what they have come to teach us, and renewing the energies by gifting the ashes to the earth to grow once again. A sacred and connected journey with an open and willing group of souls! Thank you…
Conference Festival – NSW 2011-2012
An exploration of self using focussing oriented art therapy. Beginning from the body, connecting to the body, we asked for the message to come from within, the colour, shape and form to come forth from within to speak its wisdom. This is a powerful tool to work with any stress, anxiety or pain present in the body, and also to expand any sense of joy, excitement, or any range of emotion. By connecting with self, congruence can emerge through surrendering from fight to acceptance. Thank you for opening yourself up to the experience!
