INDIVIDUAL ART THERAPY

Interested in having some individual art therapy sessions?

Individual Art Therapy is a form psychotherapy which is similar to counselling but using the creative process as our guide. Tailored to each individual, the invitation is to explore the creative process and gain insight. You may connect with yourself in new ways and find empowerment to be in whatever experience comes up. Individual Art therapy can be a powerful way to shift, realign and connect.

Why Creative Arts Based Inquiry?

The creative process can provide an emergent and open structure in which to gain a different perspective on our experiencing. Individual Art Therapy can give space to what is happening in a safe way.

We exist in relationship to others and the world, and know ourselves through one another. Exploring what is meaningful to you through while being companioned and witnessed by another can provide the safety required to explore the unknown and come to what is meaningful in the now.

What might we explore?

Using therapeutic techniques, the MIECAT form of Inquiry and other creative processes, the individual art therapy sessions invite you to bring all that is currently present and important for you at this time. The creative process can assist in bringing together all parts of self to create wholeness and wholehearted living, supporting meaning making and enacting our highest values in the world.

Individual Art Therapy Discovery

Commitment: One 60-75 minute session
Kick start your creative journey with a 60-75 minute session. Realign and reconnect with your innate creativity, and float in the possibilities that open up from the courage it takes to begin the journey.

Individual Art Therapy Intensive

Commitment: 4 x 60-75 minute sessions over 2 months
Create space for your own creativity. Commit to coming alive. Surrender into yourself, drop deep through the layers of self, to come home to yourself through the 4 week intensive art therapy journey, held, and witnessed.

Individual Art Therapy Cultivation

Commitment: 6 x 60-75 minute sessions over 3 months
Cultivate the flow and momentum to be your true creative self, in this 3 month Art Therapy Journey. Discover, deepen and open to the messages that your creative spirit has in store for you! Be prepared to let go of expectations, let go of what you think you know, to make way to feel, deepen, and be seen for who you really are.
